About Olivia

"Hi! I’m Olivia. I’m a Master of Social Work student completing my clinical internship at Mind. Body. PowHER. My path to clinical social work has given me the opportunity to work with people in a variety of settings, including behavioral health research, intake, and client coordination. Through these experiences, I’ve supported individuals through the intake process, helped connect people with appropriate services, and worked closely with participants in behavioral health research. These roles have strengthened my interest in working directly with people and ultimately led me toward clinical practice.

As I continue developing my skills as a clinician, I’m excited to work alongside clients and support them through the different challenges, transitions, and experiences that bring them to therapy. I believe everyone deserves a space where they can feel heard, understood, and comfortable being themselves. My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based, with an emphasis on meeting each person where they are rather than assuming there is one “right” way to approach therapy.

As a clinical intern, I’m especially excited to learn from the people I work with while continuing to develop my own therapeutic style. I’m interested in working with individuals navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationships, self-esteem, stress, and the everyday challenges that can sometimes feel overwhelming. I’m also interested in holistic approaches to mental health and the connection between emotional and physical well-being.

When I’m not working or doing schoolwork, I’m usually practicing yoga, spending time with my dog, or finding an excuse to try a new restaurant!"
