Therapy for the chronically overwhelmed neurodivergent woman.

You're exhausted.

ADHD makes you feel like an imposter. Everyone around you seems to manage things with so much ease, while you drown in the overwhelm of the day to day. You constantly feel behind. There is so much you want to accomplish but you feel paralyzed by the running to do lists in your head, so you end up not getting much done at all. The shame is heavy and you're ready for a change.

You're a mom of a neurodivergent or strong willed child who tests every fiber of patience in your body. You desperately want to model how to handle emotions but you lose your cool more than you ever thought you would. You feel  ashamed, you're burned out, and you're resentful.  You want to learn how to help yourself, so that you can better support your child.

Being a neurodivergent Therapist/Therapist in training is challenging. You do your best to manage your caseload, get all of your documentation done, sign up for those CEU's (and try not to forget to finish them), follow insurance regulations and supervision requirements, and the list goes on. You are looking for a therapist or a clinical supervisor who really gets it.

You struggle to set healthy boundaries in your relationships and it's costing you your sanity. You are constantly overworked and overbooked because you think prioritizing your needs is selfish. Being more assertive makes you nervous, but you know your wellbeing depends on it. You're ready to work with someone who will hold you accountable in a compassionate and non-judgemental way.

You're not alone. I'm here to help you free yourself from the weight of the overwhelm.

Why working with a therapist who has ADHD matters?

  • No need to over-explain or mask – I get it. The stories that go in 10 different directions before arriving at the point, the “wait, what was your question again?”, the intense emotions, the brain that doesn't cooperate… you’re not going to be met with blank stares or a judgemental attitude here.

  • Lived experience = real empathy – I’m not just trained in ADHD—I live it. So when you tell me how shame floods your system after losing it on your kids again or how your brain really wants to do the thing, but can't … I truly understand.

  • Our sessions are neurodivergent-affirming – your therapy space will work with your brain, not against it. That might mean movement breaks during session, visual aids, using fidgets, eating during session, or using our session to body double while you get a task done from the doom list of to do's you've been avoiding. If it works for you, it works for me!

  • We can talk about the stuff that doesn’t make it into most ADHD guides – Like rejection sensitivity, sensory overload, and the chronic feeling of being “too much” and “not enough" at the same time.

  • No shame —just support – You won't hear any of that condescending feedback you're probably used to like, "just try harder," "you need to be more organized," or "just do it, it's not that hard." Therapy isn’t about changing you or your brain, it’s about helping you thrive, exactly as you are.

  • You won’t be pathologized for being human – It's not just ADHD keeping you stuck. We’ll explore the overlap between trauma, social conditioning (hello, perfectionism), and your nervous system— lets really get to the root.
